----General Instructions-----------------------------------------------
This file contains instructions and information about software you can use
to download and upload files and to extract compressed files.
*  Download files by clicking on links.  
*  If files are compressed, PC users will need to download and install an unzip 
   utility such as WinZip.  MAC users will need to use Stuffit to uncompress.   
*  You will be prompted to save the file, or you can set save options within
   your browser.  
*  Save file to its own directory, then run setup.exe or other executable from 
   FileManager. 

----FTP Instructions----------------------------------------------------
To upload or download files to our FTP site, use an FTP program such as 
Cute FTP to transfer files.
*  To upload to our public directory, set the initial remote directory to
   /ftpsite.
   No one but The Embroidery Experience, Inc. or you will be able to delete
   files you post to this area.  Anyone can read or download from this area. 
*  To download files from our public directory, use your browser to 
   click on the desired file on our ftp page, or retrieve using an FTP 
   program for faster download (remote path as above).
*  For faster transfer of large files, compress whenever possible.
*  If you would like a private-password protected directory on our server, 
   e-mail requests to gypsy@ici.net.
*  To upload files to your password-protected directory set the initial 
   remote directory to /business/stitchbyte/upload, where upload is the
   name of your directory.  No one but you will be able to read, write or 
   delete files in this area.

To set up CuteFTP:
*Enter Site Manager to set up a site called "Stitchbyte".
*Host name:  ftp.stitchbyte.com
*Username:  guest@stitchbyte.com
*Password : guest
*Initial remote directory:  /ftpsite

WS-FTP is configured in the same manner.

As for PC Users-Win3.x above, or you can run Install Programs from Control Panel.
You will most likely have to configure MyComputer to create shortcuts
from folders and icons.

Use Stuffit to decompress file and configure as above.
